It’s no joke, but what do these artists have in common? Well, they have all been to Boise in the last two years, but more importantly, have released an album this summer or will soon release new music. Read on for links to new singles and information on the albums.
Sean Mason (in Boise in 2025) has released a single, “Secure the Bag,” from his trio’s new album “State of the Art,” to be released October 16.
Vocalist Ekep Nkwelle (2026) has released a single, “Early One Mornin,” from her first album “Caged Bird,” to be released September 25.
Bassist Linda May Han Oh (2025) and saxophonist Melissa Aldana (2015) released “Beneath Lifted Skies” on August 21.
Organist Larry Goldings, guitarist Peter Bernstein, and drummer Bill Stewart (2024) released “Rhombus” on August 7.
Guitarist Yotam Silberstein (Boise in 2024) released “Duets” with bass legend Ron Carter on June 5.
