Artists who have appeared in Boise over the last two years have released singles and albums this summer, with more to come in the fall. Read who they are what they’re doing.

Bassist Linda May Han Oh and saxophonist Melissa Aldana’s new album, “Beneath Lifted Skies” mostly cover jazz classics—just the two of them, a bass and a sax. Their notes intertwine fluidly and leave you smiling at the sky above.

The Boise Jazz Society brought Anat Cohen and Linda May Han Oh to Boise last season, and they were top vote-getters in the 74th annual DownBeat magazine Critics Poll. Other BJS artists also did well.
